About the Fool’s Gold MTB Races:
Now in its third year the Fool’s Gold 100 is Georgia’s first and only 100 mile mountain bike race. The 50 mile option is still very challenging, but a less intimidating option.
Expect typical sweeping Southern singletrack with some rocks and roots, some steep rollers, and a few gravel road grunts. Be prepared to ride hard..and drink a few brews. We promise, you won’t be disappointed! With the great schwag, all of the essential amenities (i.e. food, lodging, beer) ALL WEEKEND!, and cash payout in the 100 mile race, we think this one will be on your race calendar for good! The Fool’s Gold Races will include fully supported options of 50 and 100 miles.
About the Fool’s Gold Lodging
You will have the option to purchase lodging and meal add-ons which will get you lodging (bunkhouses at the Race Start/Finish), hot meals and local microbrews all weekend! There are HOT SHOWERS, real bathrooms, and are three fire rings & we will build the fires!! So, just bring some friends, some chairs and stay the weekend. You should bring a sleeping bag or bed linens and pillow for the bunkhouse beds.
Register today and join the fun.
