2010 Red Bull Rampage Photos & Coverage!

Race Coverage

The finals for the 2010 Red Bull Rampage mountain bike freeride competition are being held today on the redrock cliffs in Virgin, Utah. On Friday, twenty-five riders who weren’t pre-qualified got the chance to show their stuff and the top ten and moved on to the finals, along with the fifteen who were pre-selected to compete. Saturday was a designated practice and building day and not much actual riding happened – the event site was actually cleared when a thunder storm blew in late in the afternoon. There is the threat of a storm today as well and fingers are crossed that the event goes off without any interference from the weather gods.

I’ve got a Red Bull Rampage gallery up and I’ll add more photos to it later, after the competition is over. I’ll also post the final results. You can also check for more Red Bull Rampage info in the news section here on Mtbr. The official Red Bull Rampage Web site has the qualifier list and they’ve also been posting video highlights for the past few days.
