2012 Norco Revolver

29er Pro Reviews

Spec Philosophy

In order to come up with the most versatile ride possible, Norco’s design team put a lot of thought into the component spec for each of the three models in the Revolver family. Each of the models employs a 3×10 drivetrain (44T/33T/22T chainrings, 11-36t cassettes) in order to make the bike as enjoyable as possible over a wide range of terrain. The bikes also feature wider, low-rise bars (680mm) and shorter stems to increase leverage and control while enabling the rider to achieve an aggressive position by really getting over the front end of the bike. All of the 100mm travel forks use 15mm or 20mm thru-axles, tapered steerers, and remote lockout levers to improve the stiffness and climbability of the bikes. The top two models include tubeless-ready wheels for riders who are keen on benefiting from losing the rotating weight of standard tubes.
