Cam McCaul - 2012 Red Bull Rampage Qualifier Canyon Gap
Yesterday was qualifying for the 2012 Red Bull Rampage freeride competition in Virgin, Utah, near Zion National Park. Some of the best freeriders in the world have gathered to show what they can do in Southern Utah’s unique terrain. Twelve riders were pre-qualified but yesterday twenty-four more riders got to compete for twelve more spots in Sunday’s finals. The photo above is Cam McCaul solidly taking the first spot in qualifiers by stomping the terrifyingly huge canyon gap. The other qualifying riders are:

  • 6. Nico Vink
  • 7. Ramon Hunziker

  • 10. Pierre Edouard Ferry
  • 11. Casey Groves
  • 12. Brandon Fairclough

They will joing the pre-qualified riders, Andreu Lacondeguy, Brandon Semenuk, Cameron Zink, Darren Berrecloth, Gee Atherton, Geoff Gulevich, Kurt Sorge, Kyle Strait, Logan Binggeli, Robbie Bourdon, Thomas Vanderham and Tyler McCaul in the finals on Sunday.
