2013 Rocky Mountain Element RSL Carbon 29er Preview

E thru 142 x 12 rear end on the Element 29er promotes stiffness. RMB’s reasoning is that 29er wheels flex more then 26 wheels (they are bigger), thus generating more torque and hence, require the increased rear end stiffness. Rocky’s alu and carbon rear ends are so stiff that a seat stay bridge isn’t required. A side effect is that there is enough clearance for a meatier rear tire
