A special night to help motivate and educate women cyclists.
Gregg ’s Cycle is proud to announce special guest speaker Emily Edison.

Seattle, WA –  On Thursday, March 3rd at 6:30 pm Gregg ’s Cycle will be holding our third annual Women on Wheels event. It’s a great chance to come and learn all about cycling in a fun and friendly environment. We’ll have guest speakers and clinics about cycling as well as factory reps here to answer any and all questions and show off some of the newest gear in cycling.

We will be offering one-time deals and informational clinics about shoe fitting, training, bicycle maintenance and more. Not only will there be cycling information and gear but there will be free food and drink to enjoy during the event. We will have complimentary food and beverages, chocolate from Theo Chocolate, food from Greenlake Bar and Grill, coffee from Revolutions, soda from Hansen ’s , and other goodies to make sure that everyone is completely refreshed! Plus, the first 300 women in the door receive a free goodie bag!

Gregg ’s Cycle Women On Wheels Event – March 3rd 2011
This year we’re proud to announce our featured speaker: Emily Edison, owner and founder of Momentum Nutrition and Fitness in Seattle. Emily Edison is a recognized expert in the area of sports nutrition. Edison specializes in nutrition for athletes, wellness, and the management of eating disorders. Her practice includes teaching people how to eat for performance, improve vitality, and to recognize their individual internal cues for eating. In her fifth season as the Sports Dietitian for the entire University of Washington Husky Athletic Department, Emily provides nutrition coaching for Husky athletes, coaches and training staff. The 2008 NCAA National Champion Cross Country, Crew and Softball teams, look to Edison for her sport nutrition guidance.


Hear from Kat Sweet. She has been trained by Endless Biking and coaches for the Dirt Series. She is the Youth Program Coordinator at Cascade Bicycle Club and the director for Trips for Kids Seattle, a
Cascade Program. She rides for the Gregg ’s Sponsored Dirt Corp Team. Kat Sweet truly has a love for
bikes and it shows in her riding.

Local Cycling Advocacy Groups and Rides

We ’re excited to p rovide a place for local cycling clubs, advocacy groups and charity rides to show this dynamic audience of women how they can get involved in local cycling. Seattle is a great place to get on a bike and go for a ride, whether it is for training or commuting and this group of clubs and organizations will be available to distribute information and motivate Women on Wheels to get out and ride!
