Colorado’s Newest Gravity Shop wins Rocky Mountain Regional Championship Series
September 9, 2011- Colorado’s newest gravity shop- a Culture of Speed (aCOS) recently won the title of the fastest gravity team in Colorado- as announced at the final Mountain States Cup race for 2011 in Sol Vista, Colorado.
The aCOS team beat out many seasoned veteran teams and proved that with much hard work, training and dedication to the sport that anything is possible- including clinching a win by over 4,000 points as a team in their first season of competition!
Harry Rhulen, owner of aCOS said, “We’re extremely proud of our team. Santiago Garcia III, our Gravity Partner and Chris Webb, our Team Manager worked very hard to make aCOS the fastest team in the Rockies.”
aCOS had many outstanding number one ranked riders for the 2011 season which included; gravity rider Trent DelGrippo, who won the number one spot for men under 10 years of age. aCOS rider Curt Clemson won the number one rank for CAT 1 men over 40. Matthew Wells won the number one spot for CAT 2 men 19-29 and rider Ryan Steele won the CAT 2 number one spot for Men 40+. All of the team members contributed to success of the season.
