Vancouver, BC, May 26, 2009 Vancouver-based Axiom Performance Gear, a manufacturer of high-quality cycling products, has officially launched its new website today. Long known as an innovative company in the cycling industry their website introduces users to a number of new features that complement the company’s problem-solving products well.
“Many sites are very product-centered, and miss the fact that not all riders know what they are looking for. We really tried to remedy this by creating a more consumer-centric site,” stated Andrew Belson, Axiom Product Manager. “Clever navigation for clever products” is the mantra for the new website. Clean, simple look and feel is combined with a host of tools to help consumers find the right products for their needs. Well-thought out features like a style selector for new and novice riders, the Solve a Problem section to help consumers find answers to problems they may have and product matrices for easy product navigation are all combined to make life easier for current and future consumers of Axiom gear.
With a number of new and proprietary items in their lineup it’s worth a visit to the site for the selection of gear alone. The Phoenix Line of Urban/ Commuter gear, which brings style and function to city riders, and the Streamliner Road racks, specifically designed for Road bikes, have already been gaining serious attention from both media and consumers. Wanting to create a more engaging experience for users the site focuses on much more than product. “We worked very hard to help the consumer find the right product based on how they define their own cycling experience,” stated Andrew.
Taking advantage of the fact that their new website can be so much more than just a website, Axiom is also launching a blog that will start gaining content right away. Providing news, stories, commuting tips, early product peeks and more, the blog will be a fitting addition to a site that provides a rich and informative environment for users.
