MTBR Light Meter Measurements:
This light measured 150 Mtbr lux on our ambient light measurement facility. This is a staggering amount of light and really puts it in the heavy-hitter category. The other lights in its company are:
Exposure Six Pack, $600- 135 lux
Light and Motion Seca 1400 -$700 – 114 lux

Strengths:
- First class light head with machining and quality
- Good lenses and reflector deliver an excellent beam pattern
- Light switch stays out of the way and closer to the rider
- Very good center mount
- Great value at $450
- Warranty and customer service reputation is excellent.
Weaknesses:
- Light can get quite hot
- 1.5 hour run time at high is quite short.
Bottom Line:
This is a stunning light from Baja Designs as it doubles the output of previous light and the price only goes up by $100. With the included new mount worth $35, this is almost a bargain.
The beam pattern is one of the best too as it achieves the coveted ‘breadth and depth’ balance.
