KENT, WA - Diamondback announced today the release of a new aggressive all-mountain / park bike called the Scapegoat. The Scapegoat was initially a concept bike the company developed to show another use for their Knuckle Box suspension design and displayed at the Interbike show last year. Interest in the bike lead to the company producing it, but in a very limited quantity. There were only 20 produced for the entire continental U.S.
Diamondback Marketing Coordinator Trevor Knesal stated, “The Scapegoat is an all-mountain / park rider’s dream bike built up using a frame that is essentially a Diamondback Mission, but with a 1.5” head tube, a more robust down tube, an ISCG mount, and another mount on the seat tube for a floating disc brake system”. It is clear that the company spared no expense developing this bike.
