Documentary MTB Flick At Rio Theatre To Benefit MBOSC Bike Organization
JACKSON HOLE, WY (Sept 8, 2009) – The high-def film Freedom Riders is a documentary mountain bike story of a core group of riders who evolved from covertly building rough and unsustainable trails, to creating a precedent setting relationship with the US Forest Service. The unique partnership helped create history by establishing the first-ever user specific downhill mountain bike on USFS land on Teton Pass, Wy. The film isn’t just bike porn, it tells a story.
MBOSC presents the Santa Cruz, CA showing of Freedom Riders on Thurs. Sept. 17 at 7pm at the Rio Theatre. The film screening is a benefit to help raise money for the local Santa Cruz MTB trail network. If you love to ride and care about the future of all the trails in Santa Cruz county, you need to see this film and support the cause. Cost is $10.
