Northfield, NH- After a killer 2008 season Highland Mountain Bike Park has stepped it up again and packed the calendar full of races, slopestyles, jump comps, camps and much more.
Highland will kick off the season on May 9th with a season pass holder ONLY day, giving the pass holders the sneak peak on what the Highland trail crew has been up to all winter. Then they will officially kick off the ’09 season on May 15th.
“We are entering our 4th year open to the public and it’s time to start loading the calendar with events, says Highland Mountain Bike Park owner Mark Hayes. “We have a lot of work to do and the off season is a good time to get the rainy day projects done!” “Once the snow melts the trail crews will be right back at it…we are ready for a great year!”
Highland will continue working with the Mad March Racing camps to bring slopestyle, jump and racing programs throughout the year. Highland Camps start as low as $40 per session and include a lift ticket. So, what are you waiting for, now is the time to learn and Highland has the program for you.
Aaron Chase will also return to Highland this season bringing his signature Hold on Loosely tour back through his old stomping grounds. Chase and the Highland crew have some plans in the works, so stay tuned for a big announcement coming soon. “This year is going to be better then ever and open to the public. Hint, Hint.” says Chase.

Highland Mountain Bike Park is located in Northfield, New Hampshire, less than an hour from metro Boston and is 100% dedicated to bikes and therefore committed to providing the ultimate riding experience. Fueled by a passion for riding and a little luck Highland Mountain Bike Park became a reality in July of 2003 and was the brain child of two New England local DH racer’s Mark Hayes and Will Gaudette. Since then the Highland team has been focused on building a world class bike park that will change the way East Coast riders perceive lift accessed mountain biking. Highland is rider built, rider owned and rider approved.
