Since the first hour TBC 2008 has proved to be a project of enormous irreverence, novelty and flexibility, intending to involve all kinds of players of this wonderful modality.
It’s not about a competition destined just to the elites. On the contrary, it aims to receive everyone, from the weekend practitioner to the most well prepared athlete, in an initiative with cares redoubled as far as the quality of the event is concerned.
This way, after developing the several suggestions and answering the questions made to the organization of the event via email or phone, it was decided to make some adjustments seen as relevant to the participation of most teams interested in the initiative.
Therefore, the following upgrades were added to the concept of TBC® 2008:
o Teams of 3 to 5 elements, instead of 5 element teams exclusively.
o Elimination of the condition of at least one woman per team.
o Every team competes for the same classification, whatever the team’s number of elements.
o Reduction of the participation fees:
Without Lunch and Dinner With Lunch and Dinner
3 member Teams 190€ 200€
4 member Teams 235€ 245€
5 member Teams 285€ 295€
o The participants may choose not to reserve lunch and dinner, obtaining a 10€ reduction for each member on the amounts referred. Without the main meals, the participation fees will be 190€ for 3 member teams, 235€ for 4 member teams and 285€ for 5 rider teams.
o Readjustment of the technical component tests, only maintaining the stopwatch test of the phased assemblage of the bike.
o Extension of the application time limit until May 26th.
With these changes, we answer to the great majority of the suggestions of those interested in the event, making this initiative closer to the BTT community wishes.
Keep oncycling…

Hello.
If I’m not wrong, Lisboa (Lisbon in English) is the capital of Portugal.
Spain (capital Madrid) is the nation next to Portugal.
Greetings.
