nt Washington Alpine Resort, British Columbia, the newest member of the Kona Clump team, Graham Agassiz, reeled in a third-place finish at the high-profile event.
Going big and holding nothing back, Agassiz dialed in the Slopestyle course by launching a Superman seat grab Indian air that was by far one of the highest jumps of the competition. Fellow Clump riders Grant “Chopper” Fielder and brothers Andreu and Lluis Lacondeguy competed as well, but it was the newcomer Agassiz who stole the show. Agassiz competed with the Clump team recently at the Crankworx events in Colorado and Whistler and plans to continue with the team. Host Darren Bearclaw took second in the event.
Agassiz earned $3,000 for his podium placement.
