Bontrager had a very strong presence at the Sea Otter Classic this year and they are definitely making concerted efforts to get the word out about their new tires, saddles, shoes, helmets and other parts and gear. Bontrager has really stepped up their game in the tire business, both for mountain bikes and road bikes. We recently tested and reviewed their new XR-4 and 29-4 tires, read what Mtbr thought about them here>> One of the things that Bontrager is empasizing in their tire line-up, is that they offer tires for varying types of riding and terrain and that the rider needs to use that as a guideline for which compound tire they will want to choose.


Bontrager has also made some updates to it’s top of the line RXL mountain bike shoe. Available in black or white, the RXL retails for $274.99 From the manufacturer:
