Update: Nov. 14
It was just a matter of time until this made it to Tosh.O and mainstream media. We all knew this fail was too grand to stay within the boundaries of mountain biking. It will now be part of Youtube culture and will be included in countless compilation videos.

We hope Cam Zink is up and about again riding trails and conquering new terrain. Here are some of his comments about the crash.
“The sun was in my eyes and it was hard to see the curve of the ramp and judge it properly so I went off how much I’d braked the run before,”
“As soon as I came off the lip I knew I was in trouble.”
“Since I was going over the [bike] bars I just had to eject and accordion myself,” he said. “You don’t want to stiffen up so you just brace yourself and let it happen. My heels took the brunt of the impact. They’re the only thing that really hurts.”
“This was one was really scary because as soon as I came off the jump I knew I was in trouble and it was a really long time in the air knowing that something bad was going to happen,”
“I’ve never heard myself so loud when I knew that I was going to crash.”
On Twitter #@CamZink this morning, Cam said:
“Can’t wait to get back to home to see what hilariousness @danieltosh said about me today. When life gives you lemons say F the lemons n bail”

Damn that is insane. Glad he is ok… I like how even the dog ran to see if he was alright!
This is a REAL MANS SPORT. Not a ROID or a SANDUSKY locker room sport. Beer drinkin couch sittin McWalmart customers need not apply, just cash your welfare checks and watch whatever sport the overpaid CEO’s sell their products to you on. A HERO only dies ONCE. A CRITIC dies every time a person who tries something outstanding whether he succeeds or not. Cam is cool!
He used to ride DH until he took a canyon to the knee.
No gloves?
Dumba$$
Do you still get paid \ sponsored \ hospital coverage if you crash?
