Anaheim, CA – CHUMBA is now offering a wheelset for aggressive all mountain and light freeride usage. The rims are 28mm wide with 32 holes. This is not a wheelset for weight-weenies, as the front hub is also convertible to accomodate a 20mm axle – and the front axle comes standard at 9mm, and the rear axle at 10mm. The weight comes in at around
The wheelset also makes use of high-quality cartridge bearings and has a smooth flow to them. Further, the steel freehub ensures durability. The wheels retail at $299.00, making them not only high-quality, but affordable.

maybe Chumba should stop calling their advertisements Press Releases and sign up to pay for a banner ad on this site?
This is the 10th ad that I have seen from them on MTBR, disguised as a Press Release.
MTBR provides a service, and manufacturers should support their efforts with $$$, and not just take advantage of their willingness to do Press Releases.
My 2 cents.
And how do you know we haven’t advertised?
Yo Eric! Don’t be hatin’! Keep your 2 cents. I have no affiliation with Chumba or with any other bike companies out there but I always like two see and hear any new products from any companies.
Just to clarify the last comment I posted. I just realize that there is an Alan K. from Chumba. I am Alan A.
Eric,
you’re a tool. But not a Park tool, some other chiawanese crap.
We do support MTBR! Duh!
Sharkie,
If you don’t agree with my opinion, than don’t agree.
Taking my comment and twisting it to make a personal attack only tells me that it is you that is lacking in maturity, class and character.
The more you write, the less I think of you, so please don’t stop. You and your comments are worth a good laugh.
Oh, just leave the ‘chiawanese crap’ out of your comments. The world could use less stereotyping, and your comments aren’t helping this, either.
eric
eric, thanks for the concern, we appreciate it, really.
Chumba IS actually a paying sponsor on our site, and we have given Alan K from Chumba permission to post new product press releases here.
Thanks,
-gregg, Site Manager Mtbr.com
Erica,
reading your comment tells me that your are an ignorant fool who likes to spew about something they know nothing about. Don’t you think that if mtbr had a problem with Chumba’s press releases they would have taken care of it themselves without the help of someone that is obviously completely clueless about the situation? Mtbr does a great job without the help of people like you. You should take your two cents and buy some knowledge before you speak.
