FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HOOD RIVER, Ore. (December 14, 2009) – DAKINE, the leader in action sports accessories, is pleased to announce the release of version 3.0 of the free DAKINE iPhone app. Version 3.0, which is an upgraded version of the application released this past summer, has been entirely recoded for enhanced performance and interactive features.

A new interface makes it easier to navigate quickly to the user’s point of interest, with content sorted by ski, snowboard, surf, skate, windsurf, kiteboard, mountain bike, music and girl’s.

Showcased products are easily browsed by the swipe of a finger. Team rider sections are packed with athlete profiles, photos, and video clips. The music section features recent DK Music artist and song updates; surf and snow reports, continuously updated news sections and a retail store locator rounds out the mobile site highlights. When connected to a high-speed wireless or 3G network users can experience optimum performance of streaming music and video clips.

Other smartphone users will now experience faster download time and updates via DAKINE’s mobile site, www.Dakine.com/mobile, which shares the same content.
