Enve 650B AM

For several years now, the rumblings of this mysterious middlewheel size have been heard around the industry and ENVEhas been listening. When you put the pros and cons of both 26and 29 inch wheels and the associated limitations on frames, suspension, and ride quality on paper, the best of both worldsseems to lie somewhere in between. When you put the unas-suming 27.5 (650b) on dirt, all suspicions are confirmed. Ridersreport faster acceleration/deceleration than his 29” brother, and better obstacle clearing and traction abilities than his 26”brother. Enve 29 XC Tubular

The start line often comes at the end of a rigorous week of trail riding. We understand that racing is, even at the highest level of sport, only a small percentage of the time spent in the saddle. Many have two wheel sets -- one training set used for day-in-day out riding, and another reserved solely for racing. Those days are over. The ENVE 29 XC rims are the lightest in our 29" mountain line and designed with the mindset of what goes down, must first go up. Stiff, light, and durable this rim’s pedigree is racing. If you are tired of your big wheels being heavy, slow, sloppy, and bent all the time; then it is high time you make the switch to a pair of ENVE 29 XC wheels and transform you big wheeled rig into a thoroughbred.

My Enve All Mt Wheels are hands down the best wheels I have ever owned. 3 full seasons of abuse and they are still solid and true. I have to admit I was very skeptical and had a hard time beleiving these wheels would hold up to my abusive riding style, but Jason assured me that they would be Bomber. So I bit the bullet and threw down the cash. I can honestly say for first time ever a lighter faster set of wheels proved to be as stiff and durable as my trusty Mavic 823s. This is no small feat especially concidering my 823s are essentially a DH wheelset. Yes you can buy cheaper and lighter aluminum wheels. But can you slap them on you trail bike an blast Rock gardens with reckless abandon without destroying them? No you can’t and I speak from experience I have killed more wheels than I care to remember. My Enves on the other hand take this in stride. As I said before, Best wheels Ever! I will buy another set for my next bike.
