Feedback Sports Velo Hinge rack, Pro Truing Stand and Fatt Rakk

Feedback Sports had quite a few new products on display at Interbike this year. They have a new pivoting bike rack that holds the bikes vertically and maximizes space by allowing you to swing the bikes closer to the wall. The Pro Truing Stand gets some nice updates. The Fatt Rakk is the fat bike version of their venerable Rakk bike display stand.

In this video, Feedback Sports Founder and President Doug Hudson gives us the highlights of these 3 new products.

Velo Hinge

The new Velo Hinge from Feedback Sports is a pivoting wall hook that allows you to mount the bikes vertically in it and then swing them to the left or right, thus saving space. The design is very simple and the hook folds away when not in use. There is a rear wheel bumper that keeps the bike from swaying that mounts to the wall where the rear tire contacts it.

The MSRP of the Velo Hinge is $24.99 and it will be available by the end of October 2013.

Pro Truing Stand

The Pro Truing Stand from Feedback Sports is a one arm design that allows unrestricted wheel access. It will allow the mechanic to true wheels up to 29″ without removing the tire from the stand. It has a precision single spring tip indicator for checking lateral and radial rim position, a disc brake rotor truing slot and you can check wheel dish by simply flipping the wheel. It comes with a stable base and bench mount adapter as well as 12mm and 15mm axle adapters. It is easily portable and mounts to Feedback brand work stands.

Fatt Rakk

The original Rakk from Feedback Sports is an industry standard. We have been using our Rakk display stand for years at many different events. It’s simple, it’s cheap and it works.

For 2014, the Fatt Rakk is now here for all you fat bike owners out there. It has spacers that make it perfect for tires from 3″ to 5″ wide. You can adjust it for best tire fit. Like the original Rakk, it has a spring mounted arm that hold the back or front wheel and it doesn’t touch the spokes, rim or rear derailleur. It has a modular design so you can connect multiple RAKK’s together if you want.

Fatt Rakk specs:

  • Powder Coated
  • Holds 3” to 5” wide tires
  • Spring arm accommodates varying wheel diameter
  • Footprint: 13.5” X 16” (343mm X 406mm)
  • color: BLACK

The MSRP of the Fatt Rakk is $47.99 and it will be available mid October 2013.

Our Take:

We have been using Feedback Sports products for years and we can attest to their quality and usability. The Velo Hinge is one of those products that makes you wonder why someone didn’t think of it sooner. The $24.99 price makes it something anyone can afford. The Pro Truing Stand is loaded with features and the fact that it works with any size axle and any size wheel make it very appealing for the home mechanic or shop owner. The Fatt Rakk is a no-brainer if you need an easy to use display stand for your fat bike.
