The original ReMount from Lindarets was designed to help position your cable actuated dropper post or shock remote on its side for better ergonomics. Their newest version, the ReMount Integrated, is compatible with Shimano, SRAM, and Avid brake levers.

Like all the best ideas, the ReMount is simple and practical.

The Lindarets ReMount has six mounting positions and in the case of the IS-II and MM models (aka Shimano 11 Speed and SRAM/Avid Match Maker), also offers angle adjust.

The mount is constructed from 6061 aluminum with architectural-grade anodizing, stainless steel hardware, and a Delrin boss.

The new integrated model is also more compact than the original and sits further inboard, which helps reduce the chance of knee strikes. At about 19 grams, it's also lighter than the original.

The ReMount is available in four different integrated versions, as well as the original non-integrated design.

Retail price is between $30-35 and includes ground shipping within the United States. That may seem like a kick in the pants after shelling out hundreds for a dropper post, but this little adapter offers vastly improved ergonomics for most levers, and greatly reduces the chance of filleting yourself in a crash.

Too bad it's not compatible with the RockShox Reverb or I wouldn't have a three inch long scar from flying over my bars right now. But that's another story for another day.

Compatibility

All ReMounts are designed to work with cable-actuated dropper post and shock remotes with pivots parallel to the handlebar center. However, it's not recommend for multi-chainring drivetrains.

The ReMount MM can be mounted to the underside of top/left RockShox XLoc Sprint hydraulic lockouts. But SRAM's MatchMaker X T-nut and matching Torx screw are required for mounting. The ReMount MM is available with genuine MatchMaker X hardware if needed.

The ReMount IS-II mounts securely to all Shimano I-Spec II (11-speed generation) brake levers. And the ReMount IS-AB mounts securely to all Shimano I-Spec A and I-Spec B left brake levers. Not all hardware will be required for each standard.
