Stainless steel is nothing new for Form Cycles. They have been building stainless road bikes for a few years. But now they are expanding their stainless offerings into the mountain bike side of the business, including this full suspension 29er. While some of the previous stainless bikes have been Reynolds 953, this bike is built from KVA MS2 Stainless Steel.
The advantages of stainless include being stiffer than titanium and lighter than standard steel (as well as providing a more durable finish/rustproof). Daryl Roberts goes into detail about this unique bike, which signifies Form Cycle’s first efforts with building a custom full suspension mountain bike.
This bike features:
-Ventana rear end (4″ of travel)
-Stan’s ZTR Arch Rims
-Electro polished front triangle
-25.7 lbs (complete bike) as shown (can be built lighter, with lighter spec)

Cool concept. I like it. He likes the word “essentially”
