Foundry Tomahawk 27.5

The Tomahawk is our burly hardtail designed to do one thing: go fast on tight, twisty singletrack. It practically begs you to pedal harder and hit corners hot. The Tomahawk is designed around 27.5” wheels, a diameter which bridges the acceleration and flickability of 26” and the terrain smoothing approach angle of 29ers. In fact, it doesn’t just use 27.5” wheels, it is designed completely around them. It’s constructed of 40 ton carbon fiber, a material that allows an enormous range of control in tuning a frame to perform as intended. In the case of the Tomahawk, we made a bike that goes fast and lasts beyond the model year. The Tomahawk is stable but responsive. It goes where you point it. It climbs like it’s diesel powered thanks to its rear wheel position, beefy stays and substantial bottom bracket junction. The Tomahawk takes a 100mm travel fork and plays well with dropper posts. Pair all of this with agile, maneuverable geometry and high traction, trail-smoothing abilities inherent in 27.5” wheels and you’ve got a bike that climbs and descends with equal confidence. The Tomahawk is a machine that can leave your XC competitors gasping for breath one day and crush your favorite descent the next. When the going gets tough, the tough get a Tomahawk.

Foundry Broadaxe 29er

Foundry Broadaxe 29er

The Broadaxe is Foundry’s 29er. Nimble but durable, its excellent handling is due in large part to a 12mm rear thru-axle hub connected to short 438mm chainstays, with chain- and seatstays directionally shaped to balance vertical flex while maintaining excellent power transfer. The combination provides a comfy ride, but stomp on the pedals and the rear end stiffens to launch you through whatever obstacles you encounter. Amazingly, the 17” Broadaxe frame weighs in at a, very respectable 1010g (2.2lbs). This is due to carbon fiber’s unique strength-to-weight properties. Like all Foundry bikes, the Broadaxe is not meant to impress with flashy graphics or boastful claims. It’s a tool, meant to be ridden and ridden hard, and to underline this, it’s backed by Foundry’s no-hassle 10 year warranty.

Foundry Harrow

Foundry Harrow

The Harrow is Foundry’s cross racer, a no-nonsense tool equally at home on fast race courses and demanding gravel roads. Starting with the carbon fiber weave it is made from, the Harrow is designed from the ground up to maximize flex where you want it and minimize flex where you don’t. The frame’s tubes are shaped to deliver a comfortable ride while making the most of every bit of energy you put into it. The bike’s energy-efficient frame is complimented by a revolutionary Whisky thru-axle disc fork which stiffens the front of the bike, allowing the Harrow to track confidently and predictably through corners and standing sprints like no ‘cross bike before it. The 54cm Harrow weighs in at a respectable 1150g (2.5 lb) without the included Whisky thru-axle fork. Like all Foundry bikes, the Harrow is not flashy and laden with bold graphics—it’s understated. It’s a tool, meant to be ridden and ridden hard, and to underline this, it’s backed by Foundry’s no-hassle 10-year warranty.

Foundry Riveter

Foundry Riveter

A thoroughbred in the race, the Riveter’s aggressive geometry makes it exceedingly responsive in corners, sprints and climbs. A tapered integrated headtube and Whisky thru-axle disc fork stiffen the front end, making it especially adept in demanding crits and high speed descents, while delivering predictable all-condition control only discs provide. Like all Foundrys, the Riveter is not meant to be the lightest or flashiest bike on the course. Don’t be fooled. Understated though it is, Riveter is a no-holds-barred race bike through and through, backed by Foundry’s no-hassle 10 year warranty.

Foundry Thresher

Foundry Thresher

The Thresher is Foundry’s endurance road bike, a no-nonsense machine made for hammering out long miles without hammering your body. The Thresher’s monocoque frame is made of high quality, high strength 40t carbon, shape-tuned for responsive, lively performance while employing a margin of flexibility at key points to keep it comfortable mile after mile. Disc brakes front and rear offer a very small weight penalty compared to rim brakes yet pay back with powerful, predictable braking in all conditions. We also gave it a Whisky Parts Co. thru-axle fork, vastly improving its ability to track confidently through hard corners compared to standard QR forks. One hot corner on a Thresher is all it takes to understand how we fixed something others don’t even know is broken. Like all Foundrys, the Thresher is not flashy. No bright colors or bold graphics here. It’s understated, because your riding should speak for itself. It’s a tool designed to be ridden hard, and to underline this, it’s backed by Foundry’s no-hassle 10-year warranty.
