Leigh Donovan, for the millennials in the crowd (myself included), is a former UCI Downhill World Champion. She has been inducted to both the BMX and MTB hall of fame (the first and only female to achieve both) and has 39 UCI World Cup Podiums to her name. Talk about a resume.

Since she retired from racing, Leigh has become a leading advocate for women's cycling. As part of that mission, she regularly hosts clinics for women riders. To help lady shredders on a larger scale, last she created a short series on basic mountain bike skills. These videos covered essential techniques for beginners, like proper riding position, lifting your front wheel, etc..

Her new series, Mountain Bike 201, was just launched and covers intermediate topics like riding rock gardens, hitting jumps, and pumping through rollers. Each video is accompanied by some text, which recaps the pointers. To watch all of the videos, visit www.liv-cycling.com.
