The GoPro Karma was recalled three months ago due to a power failure issue. After a redesign and extensive testing, the highly anticipated drone is back on the market.

Last year, GoPro launched its first drone. The product was intended to boost sales for the ailing company (which recently let go 15% of its employees), but quickly became a sore point when the brand was forced to recall units shortly after launch. The culprit was a battery retention issue that caused power loss and resulted in a number of spectacular crashes.

After redesigning the battery latch and running the product through extensive testing, the Karma is back. Pricing remains the same. Retail for the drone (sans camera) is $799. The Karma + GoPro 5 will set you back $1100.
