Home Bicycles Story

It all started in June 2009 when Cyrille and Bruno worked as project manager in engineering decided to create their own company…Home Bicycles.

Their many years of riding mountain bikes together with their great experience in the industry as project manager in engineering allowed them to develop a 160mm enduro/all mountain frame. The project started by many months of designing and exchange with many riders on a dedicate forum Cyrille had created. They talked about geometry, suspension,… This forum allowed to benefit from the experience of each: thousand of miles on differents frames and geometries,… After few months of hard work, Cyrille and Bruno got the final plan of their first bike: the Revolver.

The two lads decided to produce everything themselves, a 100% french bike. Cyrille and Bruno decided to invest in CNC machines and make the frame themselves instead of subcontracting the work out.

They use T651 aluminium blocks to make headtubes, bottom brackets, rear bases and other parts.

After conception and reception of the first machines of the production phase has begun. Cyril and Bruno were involved in the machining of aluminum in their workshop in Nantes. They had to find local partners for laser cutting of aluminum plates 6061, the hydraulic press forming tubes, welding, painting. Revolver is finally product in a perimeter of 50 kilometers around Nantes.

After two years of hard work, they were able to present their bike at Le Roc d’Azur. Since this date, Cyrille and Bruno manufacture Revolver for France and Europe and work on an all mountain 140mm.
