In principle a great innovative idea but after all is said and done, is it practicle in reality ? I daresay it is not , pity . However, the industry needs to come up with creative concepts from time to time ( it's what keeps us on the edge...of our saddles ! ) and this idea , while being innovative to a certain degree, perhaps is ripe for improvement as time goes on. Just look at how carbon fibre frames have improved in popularity and design. Stronger than ever as well. So it's just a question of time before they ''get it right'' and produce an updated version to blow all those doubters away , I say bring it on, without new ideas we won't see progress thru' design & trial & error... I was there at the demo. We never really saw how it was ridden but it must have been pretty hard but still, it shouldn't just snap like that. That's a pretty big loss if you ask me, since it's supposedly around 10 grand to buy that frame. No word on whether or not that sort of thing can be repaired, I would certainly hope so if I was an owner of one.
