Formula was established in 1987 in Prato Italy as a motorcycle wheel and brake brake manufacture. Even out earliest moto products were winning World Championships as our bicycle disc brakes would many years later.  Recently, Formula has grown rapidly and has earned the reputation of making the best performing and lightest weight disc brakes on the market.  We stay true to our company motto:  Power, technology, design.  Fine Italian engineering and manufacturing can be seen in each one of our products and we pride ourselves on packaging premium customer service along with the best brakes you can buy.  Still to this day, every Formula product is manufactured in Prato, Italy with love and passion.

Our 2010 line up is the most refined and functional line of disc brakes available.  This year we release a completely new XC/AM brake called the RX.  This brake sits directly under our flagship XC race brake the R1.  But don’t be fooled….the only thing entry level about the RX is that it is the least expensive product you will find from Formula.  Everything else screams high end:  a one piece caliper, radial MC, and feathery weight of 351g.  The RX is destined to shine.  We also updated our already successful DH brake THE ONE.  For 2010 we dropped over 25% of the weight off of the 2009 system by incorporating a new rotor design and more importantly, converting over to a new forged Master Cylinder.  The Forged MC is based off the R1 MC and, despite its light weight looks, is actually FAR stronger and stiffer than our previous cast version.  Final weight:  308g….no other DH brake on the market can come close to that weight.  We are proud to say that Formula has the lightest and most powerful brake in each category.

For 2010 more than ever, Formula proves that not only does the best espresso come from Italy…but the best brakes do too!  Do your speed a favor and try some out.

I have the K24 with Goodridge lines. They are great and stop my FXR all mountain bike w/o any issues. I see they changed the design and don’t offer that model. I’m currently waiting for a replacement part for my level body due to a crash.

the new brakes look so trick!

what about reach adjustment on the One brake? I didn’t see much. One thing I love, and hate about my One brakes are the reach adjusters. I love them when they work, hate them when they freeze up. But 90% if the time they work fantastic and are great for adjusting reach and brake power through the day or over a week or riding a whistler.

Where and when could I get the caliper cap and tool?
