We caught up with Austin from Rase and were excited to hear about his progress. We saw him last year and although we were excited about the 9 inches of on-the-fly adjustability, there were a couple of issues to sort out. Our two major concerns were:
- the lever to activate the seatpost was a bmx lever and was too big.
- the action was a little rough and was stick a little bit when leaning forward or backward on the seat.

The wiggle in the Joplin is annoying. Hopefully this one won’t have nearly as much…

This is a great idea but these posts are useless for I-Beam type seats (SEE SGD) which are lighter and a big innovation departure from the old fashioned twin rail assembly. By making an adjustable (on the fly) system with the I-Beam technology, one could write their own ticket for pricing (lord knows SDG does). Making the addition not only beneficial, but also lighter and more in alignment with modern technology (utilizing the twin rail system as about as archaic as using beach cruisers for mountain biking).
