Today is my day to get acclimated to the Vegas desert!  The 95 degree air is very dry and the wind constantly blows dust all around you. Hydration is the name of the game as fine young ladies hand you all kinds of cold beverages.

I was greeted by a socially responsible setup at the Cannondale area. We’ll just call it the Dunk for a IMBA tank.

Chris Costello from Formula Brakes then showed us his new product. Called the Formula RX, this brake is the descendant of the hallowed R1 brake. It is powerful and light yet less than $200 per brake.  It is about 65 grams lighter than the Formula Oro brake that it replaces.

Chris Glew and Noel go over some new designs, the new dh bike, which needs a name btw.  I hear there will be a contest for the name so keep an ear out.

Knolly has released a new dh bike. Three years in the making, it looks like a weighty beast but Knolly said it can be built up sub 40lbs. The bike uses an upper pulley because it does use a bit of reward travel.

Knolly is also going to have a naming contest for the bike with the winner getting a week long trip to ride the bike and kick it with the Knolly crew.

A LITTLE TEASER OF SOME SPY SHOTS OF OUR NEW FRAME.

We just wanted to remind everyone to be at the Knolly booth, booth number 5057, for 11am on Wednesday for the unveiling of our new frame prototype. At 11am on Wednesday we will be unveiling our new frame prototype possibly featuring “KRYPTONIAN DUAL SPOCKERED LINKAGE” or possibly featuring some of Noel’s best design work. . If checking out the booth isn’t exciting enough especially with a brand new product being released we will also be shamelessly providing invitations for our Wednesday evening Whiskey tasting and drinking event that will begin at 5 pm in our booth.

Look for the Knolly tent at the outdoor demo to check out our extensive range of demo bikes and even take one for a ride if you fancy. Of course we are totally biased but we think you should take one for a ride and enjoy the suspension platform that has won MTBR readers choice awards several years in a row. See you at Interbike.
