Jenson USA Selected by Los Angeles-Based City National Bank for TV, Radio Advertisments

Independent bicycle retailer Jenson USA has been selected by Los Angeles-based City National Bank, a private and business bank to be featured in an advertising campaign centered around the banking and borrowing needs of growing businesses.

“I’m so excited to see Jenson USA, and Sycamore Canyon Park in film” says Jenson USA President and CEO, Mike Cachat. “City National and the production company did a super job of making Jenson USA and our vendor partners look great.”

The campaign incorporates two television commercials, two radio spots, as well as printed material featuring Cachat for use in bank branches. Film and still photography for the campaign took place over a two-day period at Jenson USA’s Riverside, CA distribution center and retail store in Corona, CA, as well as on the trails of Sycamore Canyon Park, also in Riverside.

Other businesses previously featured by City National include Chef Wolfgang Puck, Mel Elias of The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, and Terry Vance of Vance & Hines Racing.

Got to love JensonUSA. I’m happy to support them on their continued success, as long as they keep giving me great deals on bike stuff. I price match just to go through Jenson, even if I have to pay tax.

I am glad Jenson is doing well but I always cringe at commercials using mountain bikes that insist on showing the rider locking up the rear wheel and skidding. Those who would like to see mountain bikes banned from trails always use this type of advertising to highlight trail damage and erosion caused by bikes. Don’t be a skidiot.
