San Luis Obispo, CA  – Lezyne is proud to annouce the continued partnership with the MTB powerhouse Team Maxxis-Rocky Mountain. The team is one of the top professional mountain bike race teams in the world. Comprised of top tier cross country and downhill World Cup racers, like Geoff Kabush, Sabrina Jonnier, and Marie Helene-Premont, the team is one of the few teams to race both XC and gravity events. The team also has a freeride element with such well-known characters as MTB Hall of Famer Wade Simmons, who has been working with Lezyne since the start of their partnership in 2009.

The team’s star riders and staff have been vital to the development of many of Lezyne’s MTB products, and Lezyne looks forward to working with the team to develop new products in 2011. The team trains and races with Lezyne’s award winning hand pumps, floor pumps, multi-tools, CO2 inflators, tire repair, and hydration packs.

In January team members Wade Simmons and Geoff Kabush flew out to Lezyne HQ for a photo shoot. Check out the following links for a glimpse of what you may see in the next issue of your favorite MTB magazine as well as some awesome videos:

HTC-Highroad’s Ellen Van Dijk Win Tour of Qatar

HTC-GIRLS-2011-QATAR-WIN-R0

Dohan Corniche, Qatar – Ellen Van Dijk and HTC-Highroad made a clean sweep in the final classification of the Tour of Qatar on Friday, scooping the overall, the Points and Best Young Rider prizes with Van Dijk, as well as the teams prize in their first race of the season. HTC-Highroad also took second overall with Charlotte Becker, fourth with Adrie Visser and tenth with Chloe Hosking.

“It’s the first time I’ve won a stage race in my career and this is a great one to be the first” Van Dijk said. “It was wonderful how the whole team worked for me and kept the race under control. There was a bunch sprint on this last stage, but I was so focused on the overall I didn’t go for it at all.”

Just as with her stage win on Thursday, Van Dijk’s dedication for the overall victory went to her team-mate Carla Swart.

Lezyne is an official sponsor of Team HTC-Highroad, providing the team the best in hand pumps, floor pumps, CO2 inflators, multi-tools, and tire repair.
