Lezyne’s Ulrike Schlifske gains title of “Global Sales Coordinator”
After a successful Taipei Cycle Show, Lezyne’s Ulrike “Uli” Schlifske assumed the position of Global Sales Coordinator. In her new position, Uli will oversee all Lezyne accounts and sales staff worldwide with the ongoing goal of growing sales and developing key markets going in to Year 6 (2013). “Uli has demonstrated time and time again her skill for managing Lezyne accounts and understanding the challenges faced in each market. We believe she has what it takes to move our company’s sales to the next level. We are very proud to have her as a member of our team,” said Micki Kozuschek, Lezyne owner and CEO.
Uli began working for Lezyne in September of 2010 on the eve of that year’s Eurobike Trade Show. Her position was European Sales and Marketing and was based out of her home in Germany, from which she managed key Lezyne accounts in Europe. Under the mentoring of Kozuschek, Uli learned many of the skills needed to manage and grow Lezyne’s European customers and markets.
Uli will continue to drive Lezyne’s worldwide sales team from her home in Germany. Her new position will demand that much of her time be spent in sales, however, Uli will still be involved in Lezyne Marketing and will work together with Patrick Ribera-McKay, Lezyne’s Marketing Manager, to spread the company’s motto of “Engineered Design” to cyclists worldwide.
