Not only did Mtbr hold a beer party for our industry friends, we held an Mtbr User Party on Saturday night. Since many of the patrons were racing the next day, they took this opportunity to “carbo-load”. The party was open to any and all as invites were posted in our very active Norcal forum. Here are a few pictures of the good times!
This party provided a chance for Mtbr users and forum members to meet each other, Mtbr staff and a few industry people who were left over from the previous night’s festivities! Stay tuned for more info about the next big site to launch in the ConsumerReview network….BeerReview.com!
There is great debate on what was better, the Industry or the Member party. But there were many lucky ones that were present at both. The venue where the mtbr staff stayed for the week was not ostentatious but it was ideal and comfortable for a crowd of like-minded athletes. Newcomers and out of towners came in timid but came out laughing with many new friends. Folks just sprawled out into the property, put their feet up and felt right at home.
Scott Montgomery, now of Club Ride Apparrel attended both days and said he’s never been to a party that was as well executed as this. He said the venue, the food and the vibe were A+. We won’t even talk about the beer as there were at least 50 different types of Craft IPAs represented. The hallowed Pliny The Elder was challenged by some for the title of ‘Best IPA in the world’. Boneyard RPM IPA from Bend, Oregon was a champ and many even picked that over Pliny.
So the three questions at the party were:
1) Are you doing this again next year?
2) How is the food so amazing?
3) What do I have to do to get those stunning mtbr jackets?
til next year,
fc, gregg and the crew.
