I have a couple of James' bikes - a rigid steel 29er SS and a Northdam road bike. To put it bluntly, I never suffer from bike envy. Top notch build and ride quality - fast, functional art.

Very very cool bike.. I have admired your frames since seeing them at Leadville last year.. How are is this frame dealing with the slackened chain tension with 4 inches of travel? I have heard of a non-chain tensioned SS Epic with a 1 inch spacer in the shock being able to hold on to the tension due to the perp line of travel for the first 3 inches of travel but it seems like with a solid chain stay pivot the rear is going to travel a path to the seat post causing the chain to slack. Anyway, beautiful frames.. High drool factor! Wish I could have made the show.
