Nathan Rennie and Lower 45 Bike Camps

News

World champion Nathan Rennie’s newest chapter has begun! Nathan has joined forces with X Whistler local Chris Dickson to embark on their own adventure, Lower 45 Bike Camps. Based out of Queenstown New Zealand which sits on the 45th parallel south of the equator (45 degrees 02’ 34” S to be exact), “Our camps are the first of its kind on this side of the world. We’re offering our campers a once in a life time opportunity to be a part of the very best. Riding bikes has taken me around the world, racing alongside the finest in the competition, I want to be able to share my experience” say Rennie.

Lower 45 Bike Camps have dialled in newly renovated accommodations, facilitated by Reavers Lodge, located minutes from the Queenstown Bike Park and a stone’s throw from the down town action. Week long camps provide everything from lift tickets to the best bike park south of Whistler, three square meals a day at Queenstown’s most iconic restaurants, transportation services with local business Queenstown Bike Taxis and of course free swag from sponsors so you look the part. “We want this to be like an extreme club-med for mountain bikers” says Dickson “our camps are for anyone who wants to improve, learn new skills, have fun and of course ride with a legend for the week”.

Lower 45’s focus is building a programme that will blow their campers off the mountain, incorporating technical workshops, that delivers valuable information required to set up and repair their own bike.

“Our camps will be an intense six night, seven day riding extravaganza” smiles Rennie “I guarantee campers will take away all the knowledge needed to kill it!, whether it’s at the next national championship, local race or back home riding with your mates”.
