They had some cool new 2013 products on display at the Sea Otter Classic and Mtbr got an up close look at their new Gladiator sunglasses and two of their new CNC machined floor pumps.
In this video, Jason Norman from Serfas shows us the highlights of the Gladiators and the FMP-900 and FMP-969 floor pumps.
Eyewear is a new category for Serfas and it is definitely a hot market right now. While the competition is plentiful, Serfas offers some strong features at an amazing price point. For 2013, they have five new models of sunglasses. Featured here is the Gladiator with interchangeable lenses.
Other features include:
-TR 90 frame construction for durability and flexibility (won’t pinch)
-decentered polycarbonate lenses (optically centered for a rider’s on bike positioning)
-comes with 4 interchangeable lenses (Rose, Brown, Grey, Clear)
-hard case and carry bag
-comes in 3 colors (white, black, silver)
What is really amazing about the Serfas Gladiators is the price. With an MSRP of $60, the Gladiators fall within anyone’s budget.
Also brand new for 2013 are the FMP-900 and FMP-969 floor pumps that feature a CNC machined steel body.
Both pumps feature the Serfas “Simple Valve” head that doesn’t require any switching or removal of parts to handle both Presta and Schrader. Both also feature an easy-to-read oversized gauge and both have a PSI capacity of 260 PSI.
The FMP-900 is the more affordable model with an MSRP of $90 and has an ergonomic wooden handle and a rubber hose. The slightly more expensive FMP-969 features an aluminum handle and a rubber coated stainless steel braided hose with an MSRP of $120.
