During our recent trip to the Trek World Headquarters in Waterloo, WI, we were shown a new 29er DH bike. In the ACG deparment (A.dvanced C.oncepts G.roup) this bike was one of the highlights. It is obviously still a prototype, but it has already been out in the wild, real world tested at Whistler not too long ago.
It has 7″ of travel and we’re pretty sure it will be spec’ed with flat bars when it hits the market.
There was also some concepts shown for an All Mountain-ish full susser in the 140 mm range. We aren’t allowed to show you what we have on this bike, but it’s a neweR version Of an older fiSher Completely redOne with bumpEd up rear travel.

Jeezwhizkillers!! 29er downhiller, I guess that means a much smooth and way too fast ride downhill. Should be a real a**-sphincters!! Trust me, 29ers just rolls and rolls!

29er + 7″ = very tall head tube. That’s why the need for a FLAT BAR. Dork.
In reference to the 140mm travel version; Its about time manufacturers realize 29ers need more suspension travel to compete in the all-mountain arena. Now we just need Fox to make a 36 talas with 150mm travel and a 20mm thru axle for all the new 29er long travel bikes coming out and you’ve got yourself a sweet 29er trek that I will actually buy
A 7″ 29er?? Will it come with a truing stand and a dish tool?

The technology has finally caught up with this concept! So pumped, 29er’s are going to be the future…until the 32-er’s come out haha!
