Niner Bikes announces two new initiatives to support the International Mountain Bike Association.

First, Niner has designed and produced 9 limited edition Air 9 Carbon framesets. "These framesets will never be for general sale - the only way to get them is through support of IMBA" said co‐founder Steve Domahidy, "Riders can get their hands on one of these frames by either joining IMBA or renewing their IMBA membership at Sea Otter, or by participating in the online auction that begins on April 18".

Folks headed to Sea Otter, should make sure they renew or join IMBA while before Saturday afternoon. Those that do will be automatically entered to win a complete Air 9 Carbon bike, in their size, in a raffle at the CLIF party. With support from Niner's friends at Stan's NoTubes, Ergon International, SRAM, Thomson, Continental and Fizik, Niner has put together a bike worth over $5000 - which can be won for the price of an IMBA membership.

"Niner sets a tremendous example of support for IMBA and passion for the cause, which we sincerely appreciate," said IMBA Development Director, Rich Cook. "With these custom frames, Niner has really raised the bar in going above and beyond in support of trails and the places we ride."

Raffle is on Saturday April 16 at 4:30 pm in the IMBA tent, on the green. There are a ton of other great prizes on offer to new or renewing IMBA members, and the odds of walking away with a dream bike are pretty great. Must be present to win.

Folks who can't make it to Sea Otter should keep their eyes on the online auctions, beginning on April 18. 8 framesets will be auctioned (starting at .99 cents!) with 100% of the proceeds donated directly to IMBA. The link to the auction will be announced on Niner's facebook page at 8:30 pm, PST. Auction will run for 10 days and after that, this limited edition paint will no longer be available to riders.

Niner's second initiative is a long term contribution plan involving their grassroots racing program through their dealers ‐ every Niner proform includes a $10 donation to IMBA. "We started this at the beginning of the season and have been pretty pleased with the results - shop employees and racers are happy to include a contribution with their purchase" said co-founder Chris Sugai. "We are a small company, but we passionately believe in IMBA's mission and want to do everything we can to maximize the value of our support"
