San Diego, CA – NiteRider athletes Josh Tostado and Jari Kirkland crushed the competition at the 24 Hours of Moab and became the 24 Hour National Champions.

Tostado, hailing from Breckenridge, Colorado, set a new course record and locked in 18 laps.  “The highlight laps for me were at night.  I actually felt my best, and enjoyed it.  I ran a lightweight system and it was more than enough output on the trail.  I was also extremely happy with the new MiNewt.350 on my helmet.”

Just coming off an impressive win in Costa Rica, Kirkland laid down fifteen laps, two more laps than the second place finisher.  “I definitely had my best Moab race yet.  I was overwhelmed at the power of the Pro 1400 LED.  People don’t realize how important having the best light system is when racing after dark.  I feel I totally had the advantage once the sun set.”

Over the past 15 years, NiteRider Technical Lighting Systems has been onsite at the 24 Hours of Moab providing race support for customers.   During the race, approximately half of the competition takes place in the dark, demanding the best, most durable and dependable technical lighting solutions.
