Pedro's Sends Three to Puerto Rico to Assist LUNA's Streb and Nash

HAVERHILL, Mass. (May 18, 2010) – To celebrate the global launch for the 2011 Orbea Rallon series this weekend at Marla Streb’s signature trail park, Singletrack Jungle, at ToroVerde Nature Adventure Park in Orocovis, Puerto Rico,” Pedro’s is pleased to dispatch three mechanics to assemble the new bikes and keep them running smoothly throughout the event.

Pedro’s will be outfitting the park’s service course with tools and bike care and will be on hand to tune and maintain the bikes in order to maximize the bikes’ performance for event participants.

“We are flattered to take part in such a big event for Orbea,” said Jason Elhardt of Pedro’s, “and we couldn’t be more excited to show our continued support for Marla in this new endeavor. We have put together a crack team of well-respected mechanics to handle this operation,” he added. “Matt Roy and David Wilcox are two of our most trusted wrenches and having them check out and report back to us on the Rallon series should provide some keen insight for our product development team.”

Mountain biking legend, Marla Streb, along with LUNA pro, Katerina Nash, and editors of 10-15 industry magazines will be riding and testing the new Rallon 30 rigs, which will also provide the media and Pedro’s mechanics with a first look at Shimano’s 3×10 system, set to debut in 2011.

The event and test rides will take place at at the Adventure Park which is Phase One in the development of the OroVerde Eco-Hotel and Resort, which is scheduled for completion in 2013.
