Tony Pereira – Pereira Cycles (Portland, OR) shows us his JBR (short for Jeff Bates Racer, the first customer Tony ever had). Tony explains the backstory on the JBR and it’s significance on how he became a frame builder. The bike is a singlespeed 29er made from high quality, crome moly, double butted steel. Simple and built for riding. The Pereira Cycles JBR won the NAHBS Award for Best Mountain Bike.
