Praxis is a Santa Cruz, California-based company with its foundations rooted in research and development. They came up with the 11-40 wide range 10-speed cassette in 2015 that gave many riders a reliable and cost-effective 1x gearing solution. Since then, they've expanded their line-up significantly including the Lyft crankset. Press play to learn more.

The Praxis Lyft carbon crankset features hollow carbon construction and M30-THRU bottom bracket design that can be adapted to fit a wide range of frames. The cranks with 30t chainring weigh 454 grams and sell for $500.

Praxis Lyft Crank

With a 30t ring, weight for the system is 454 grams.

We've been using this crank on a tester Evil Calling bike and it has been flawless so far. Stiffness is noticeable thanks to the 30mm spindle and carbon arms that work together to deliver power transfer with no noticeable flex.

Bearings have been smooth since the install, breaking in nicely after a few rides. The Wave Tech ring also works as advertised, staying quiet and with no chain drop issues. We've swapped between a 30, 32, and 34t rings easily, while seeking the best match with an Eagle 1x12 drivetrain on our local terrain.

Praxis Lyft Crank

Our Lyft cranks got STIKRD decals to match the test bike. Praxis has licensed out their logos to STIKRD.
