QBP is the largest bicycle parts distributor in the US and they hold a special event every year for their top dealers and select media. The event is held in QBPs backyard (QBP West is based out of Ogden, UT. Their main world HQ is in Bloomington, MN) at the Snowbasin lodge and resort. It was a perfect setting, as dealers get to see and ride and test the bikes and gear first hand on their naturally terrain. Mtbr was fortunate enough to be in attendance to see all the latest from QBPs own brands (like Surly, Salsa, Civia, All-City and more) as well as other featured manufacturers and partners.
Besides the big news about the new Salsa Beargrease and the Surly Krampus, other brands displaying their latest parts and accessories were: Park Tool, Pedros, Lazer Sport, Wahoo, Finish Line, White Lightning, SixSixOne, RockShox, Ridley and Foundry. Here are a few of their highlights.
Park Tool
Our old friend, Calvin from Park Tool was showing the new INF-1 from Park Tool, an air compressor shop inflator (perfect for those tubeless/UST tire installations!) I asked Calvin if he could tell me what new stuff Park will have at next month's Interbike trade show and he gave us a teaser. The hint is: "It is made for you if you have a bad back or a really heavy bike." Guesses?
Pedros
Yes, Pedro's is still around! The company has undergone some changes, but they are working hard to improve and streamline operations, delivery and product features. Highlighted here is the new Pedro's Mini Pit Kit - same price, now includes tools! Tire levers, folding hex tool, toothbrush cleaner, frame brush, sponge, rag and more fit in the handy bucket for storage and space to add your favorite cleaners and lube. Retail price of the Pedro's Mini Pit Kit remains $49.99. Also, still readily available are Pedro's extensive line of cleaners and lubes.
Lazer Sport
We covered some of the new helmets from Lazer at the recent Bike PressCamp event, but they also had a couple of new colors on display at SaddleDrive as well as the new Rox MTB helmet. It is similar to the 02 but has an updated Rollsys cable and basket adjustment (like the new Oasiz). Retail price of the new Rox is $115 and the weight is 280 grams for the uni-size version (but also comes in XL). The Rox will be available in matte red, matte green, matte blue and even a new matte hi-viz yellow.
Also on display from Lazer was the new colorway of the Lopes 55 Edition Oasiz.

White Lightning was also diplaying their wares at SaddleDrive. I have not personally used White Lightning in years, but I'm glad to see them still around. Featured here is the Chain Johnny, a cover for putting on your bike while traveling with it inside of your car. Promoted as something to allow cyclists to "Transport Bicycles with No Damage, No Mess!" The Chain Johnny uses a rip-resistant, 2-ply rubber/nylon material that is also water resistant. It opens and closes with Velcro closures. The MSRP is $19.99 and is available from your local White Lightning dealer.

Finish Line
Since SaddleDrive really is a dealer event, the Finish Line booth was focusing on P.O.P. (Point of Purchase) displays for dealers to evaluate and consider for their shop.
Rock Shox
Although they weren't displaying any new 2013 products yet, I took a few shots of the latest Rock Shox forks and shocks:
Ridley XFire and Noah
Here a few shots of Ridley's XFire cyclocross bike and Noah road bike.
