I have a 2012 Epic, and I just thought it would be cool to get a cheaper bike to use for trail ridding and what ever els I’m doing. I really only use my Epic for racing XC trails, and I just got the 2014 Hardrock. This bike has V brakes and 26 inch double walled rims along with a sweet new look for hardrock, and I can move just as fast on it as my friends who are riding $4000 dollar range bikes vs $450 dollar range Hardrock. Great bike that will hold up to some pretty rough abuse for a great buy. The only thing that really might need an upgrade is the front shocks, they are kind of stiff and will not give you the full 80mm travel it’s said to be capable of.

Interbike must have a show in Chicago. Chiagoland opened 2 or 3 trails and it’s continuously growing. I don’t understand why Interbike shows are limited only to warm climate states. It should come to Chicago so we can save the $$$ travelling and invest it on a damn awesome bike. ;-)
