L’Alpe D’Huez, France – On Sunday July 22nd, Lezyne Ambassador Remy Absalon (Commencal Team) won the Alpe d’Huez Megavalanche for the fourth consecutive year, demonstrating that he is the world’s best in Marathon Downhill. Runners up to Absalon were tough competition in the form of Nicolas Lao and Dan Atherton. Absalon’s winning run was not easy and didn’t look like a victory at first. During the first decent, Absalon was involved in a crash with another rider on the course, which put him into 6th place coming off the glacier. But he made up ground on the next technical section and climb to take the win.

Power Lever Wins in German mountainBIKE
Germany – The humble but versatile Power Lever tire lever was recently hailed as Test Winner in the August issue of mountainBIKE magazine with a 5 out of 5 star rating. The original magazine page is attached. The magazine liked the Power Lever for its thin tire hook which easily slipped under tough tire beads. The smooth edges and rigid construction make it easy to apply the necessary leverage to remove tough tire beads. The editors conclude the review by saying “Lezyne does everything right.”
