Clean, simple, light. Those 3 things embody this custom singlespeed 29er from English Cycles. The look of the bike is very clean, if you like internal cable routing, Rob English is a master at it. The graphics and visual appeal compliment the design with a simple baby blue color and white graphics. But the biggest headline grabber about this bike is it’s amazing 18.5 total weight. (Rob also has a 10 pound steel road bike). Watch the video for more details:

18.5lbs ss with a rigid fork isn’t all that light. Yeah, the design looks pretty cool, but it’s way to heavy for that kind of setup. I mean I have a few triple and double H/T 29er’s with full suspension shocks that weigh a few pounds less than that.
to j richie – you are full of it. this man is an accomplished racer, academic, doer, bikebuilder and mouldbreaker, engineer, thinker, self confessed geek and all the rest, probably a decent human being. I am Irish, he is English and you are……..?
