After a long hiatus, RockShox is bringing back the Judy. This time, the fork has a chassis that’s based off the popular Pike suspension fork and is available in 27.5 and 29er versions. Either ships with 30mm stanchions, boost spacing, and clearance for up to 2.8” tires. The upper tubes are constructed from aluminum, while lowers are magnesium.
The fork is marketed towards the entry level market and will retail for $380-$450 depending on options. Despite the budget friendly price tag, the Judy has several premium features, including a motion control RL damper, torque cap compatibility, and the option to run a OneLoc remote.
Travel options include 80mm, 100mm, and 120mm. Color choices are Diffusion Black, Gloss Black, and White.
The Judy will also be available as an OEM fork. This version, the Judy Silver TK, shares the same chassis and tire clearance as the Judy Gold, but uses steel stanchions and simpler internals.
