Norridge, Illinois (May 14, 2008) Forget about everything else on a bike. If your saddle isn’t comfortable, neither is your ride. New for 2008 are four saddles from Planet Bike that are guaranteed to be “derriere approved”. And Lexco distributes all four.

A.R.S. Competition
A.R.S. stands for “Anatomic Relief Saddle” which means that the saddles will fit perfectly and keep you comfortable throughout a ride. The A.R.S. Competition saddles are available in both men’s and women’s styles and feature: GEL pads with SuperSoft™ padding with flex base; full-length center recess that brings anatomic relief; and a cover that is slick and weatherproof which decreases friction. A great road bike or mountain bike saddle.

A.R.S. Standard
Boasts the same features as the A.R.S. Competition saddle but in a slightly wider profile. The cover is durable and weatherproof. Available in both men’s and women’s styles.

A.R.S. Spring
Includes many features of the A.R.S. Standard — like Gel pads and anatomic relief — but is made with a wider seat platform and elastomer spring suspension for great shock absorption. In both men’s and women’s styles.

Comfort Tractor
The perfect cruiser saddle. Features a wide profile and SuperSoft™ padding for that ultimate comfort ride. Unisex only.

“Let’s face it, if your customers’ rear ends are sore they won’t be riding their bikes as much which means they won’t be stopping by your store as often,” says Karen Peterson of Lexco. “A saddle upgrade might be the most important upgrade on a bicycle. Planet Bike’s four new saddles have been designed and tested to provide the best ride ever, and we are happy to supply them to our dealers.”

Says Dan Powell of Planet Bikes: “We are very excited that Lexco has decided to bring in the new Planet Bike saddles, as we feel that these are the best saddles we’ve made to date.”

The full line of Plane Bike saddles can be found in Lexco’s free 2008 Catalog. For details, call Lexco toll-free at (800) 626-6556.
