Sam Hill’s Specialized Farewell Video

Sam Hill and Specialized will be parting ways and this is their way of saying thanks to him. Sam played a key role in the development of the modern Demo 8 geometry (lower BB was a noticeable change), had the 2009 World Cup Overall win, the 2010 World Championship in Mont Saint-Anne, and a lot of national level wins. Testing on the carbon Demo was extensive as well, Sam and Troy Brosnan rode the first prototypes at the 2011 World Championships in Champery, Switzerland (Troy won that race). Sam was also the one that found young Troy Brosnan who will lead the Monster/Specialized team next year at just 19 years old…he already has two World Championships under his belt.

Official Video Description: Sam Hill and Specialized are going their separate ways starting in 2013. All of us at Specialized would like to send our thanks to Sam. Thanks for the wins, time working on the bikes and equipment, and of course all the fantastic memories! Best of luck to him and his family next year and the years to come.
